What all the kids are wearing this year…
I wonder what E.’s teacher thought about the “mean teacher” costume she wore to school yesterday. Luckily, she didn’t look too much like Ms. P. or she might have been offended. Actually everything she was wearing came out of my closet, so maybe I should be offended.
Tonight, she’s going trick-or-treating with three of her friends, as the “Four Nerd-skateers.” Not sure if she’s got the whole costume figured out yet, apart from the 4 giant pencils she bought for them to use for sword-fighting with each other. Glad she thinks the pen(cil) is mightier than the sword…
T. went to school yesterday in character as a “70′s Dad” – wearing pretty much entirely Stu’s clothes. Kinda retro, turtleneck and loafers. Good thing our wardrobes are such a source of fun for our kids.
C. says she’s going as a bumblebee, but hasn’t done anything about making a costume yet. The teens are at that awkward age where they still want to get some candy, but know that if they show up on people’s doorsteps and are taller than the person opening the door they’ll get turned away…
